We currently deliver within New Zealand. We can deliver internationally on request. Delivery costs and estimated delivery time will vary depending on the type of order.
We will ensure every effort is made to get your orders packed and sent out to you as soon as possible, we do not however, have any control over the New Zealand postal delivery services schedule.
If you have placed an order for a product that is currently out of stock, you will be contacted promptly and notified about any delays for your order.

Please allow up to 2-3 working days for your parcel to arrive for orders placed within Auckland or up to 4-5 working days if your placing your order outside of Auckland. We do check our online orders daily and aim to get your orders sent out promptly to you, however we have no control over the New Zealand postal delivery services schedule.
If you do not receive your order within the estimated delivery time, please contact us to discuss this. We will do our very best to recover your missing parcel.
We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase - so please choose carefully when placing your order. If the product you have bought is faulty and not fit for its intended purpose, we will provide a credit refund or exchange it for you.
Chemist Plus is devoted to providing quality products to their customers. If the product you have purchased online is faulty and not fit for its intended purpose, you can return your order for a credit refund (excluding shipping costs) or exchange it. The return must be made within 7 days of the order being received. Please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to return your order. The product(s) being returned must be unopened and in its original resalable condition. Please ensure you provide either a phone number or email address in case we need to contact you about your return. Only products eligible for returns can be returned. You can find a list of products ineligible for returns listed below. Please consider this carefully prior to making your online order.
AT OUR DISCRETION
We will refund your payment on the following conditions:
- The goods have been returned to us at your own expense and in a new unused saleable condition
- Goods have to be received intact before we can process your refund
- That you accept a 20% re-stocking fee
This returns policy only relates to products purchased from this site and does not apply to general medicines and restricted medicines purchased from this site or prescription medicines dispensed from our physical store in Newmarket.
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN/EXCHANGE
Please email us at email@example.com to arrange your return.
We request that you adequately package your products for a safe return to our store. After we have safely received the returned products, we will arrange a replacement product or provide you a credit refund (excluding shipping costs).
Products that are damaged in the process of being returned to our store as a result of unsuitable packaging will not be eligible to be exchanged or for a credit refund. Chemist Plus Limited will not be liable for the loss of any item being returned. If you wish to return a product, we highly recommend you to use tracked delivery.
Please note products which are classified as Dangerous Goods, including but not limited to aerosols, nail polish and nail polish remover cannot be sent via courier unless explicitly declared to the courier as Dangerous Goods.
CONSUMER GUARANTEES ACT
We will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and any product which is faulty or not fit for its intended purpose can be returned for a refund (excluding shipping costs) or exchanged, provided proof of purchase has been presented (either a receipt or online tax invoice).
We may return the product to the manufacturer to determine the nature of the problem and to organise an exchange. Chemist Plus Limited reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.
Chemist Plus Limited reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing an exchange or refund. This may result in an exchange or refund being refused.
Please note: Your receipt or online tax invoice are the best form of proof of purchase.
Unless the product is faulty, Chemist Plus Limited will not accept the return or exchange of items from the following categories:
- Clearance items and sale items
- Earrings and items of a personal nature (for example cosmetics, skin care, consumable products etc)
- General medicines, restricted medicines and prescription medicines
- Opened items and items not in original resalable condition
- Baby Formula
- Face masks
In accordance with New Zealand Health and Law Regulations, medications cannot be returned or exchanged. For safety reasons, we cannot guarantee the medications have been stored correctly nor can we exclude the possibility of the medications being tampered with.
Products are not eligible for a refund if the products have been delivered to the wrong address as a result of incorrect input of address details by customers. Our address labels are automatic and any error made during the input of delivery address is the customer's responsibility.
If you purchased the item from our physical store in Newmarket, you will need to talk directly to one of the store employees and physically return/exchange the item in store.
