Extended Pharmacy Services
At Chemist Plus, we’re making it easier to access healthcare when you need it.
As part of Health New Zealand’s Extended Pharmacy Services initiative, participating pharmacies can provide pharmacist-led care for a range of common health conditions. This means you may be able to receive advice, assessment and treatment directly from your local pharmacy — often without needing to visit a GP.
Our trained pharmacists can assess your symptoms, provide personalised advice and, where appropriate, supply suitable treatments or medicines for selected common conditions.
More accessible healthcare, closer to home
These services are partially funded, which means many patients may pay less for eligible pharmacy consultations and treatments than they previously would have.
Visit Chemist Plus pharmacy to find out more about Extended Pharmacy Services and how we can help you and your whānau.
